KEANE : The Lovers Are Losing

Geez, it doesn't seem that long ago that we posted the video for Keane's single 'Spiralling' (it was last Monday), but already there's another single and it's video knocking on our pOp door... 'The Lovers Are Losing' is the first single proper from Keane's delicious new album 'Perfect Symmetry' and is being released on CD single in the UK on October 20 with the album out locally on October 11. The clip begins with Tom having a little run through the countryside (obviously good for his health) when all of a sudden, people in camouflage start chasing him and trying to shoot him (obviously not good for his health). He gets shot (but it doesn't seem to affect him, thankfully - 'cause he's got a video to finish). He finds some girls who may or may not have been involved in a bus crash and who may or may not be dead and proceeds to walk with them in the dark (did we mention it was dark now) to the edge of a city which is under attack. We don't quite know what it all means but it's all highly entertaining.
