Fans in Mariah Carey forums the world over went into top gear as soon as voting for this gong got underway a couple of weeks ago. So much so, that at one stage, the vote for Mariah's album 'E=MC2' was running at around 75% of all votes. And despite a late rally by New Kids On The Block fans, the album that brought us the singles 'Touch My Body', 'Bye Bye', 'I'll Be Lovin You Long Time' and 'I Stay In Love' has been voted by you as the 'pOp album of the year' for 2008. It hit the No.1 spot on the US albums chart on it's release in early April, but narrowly missed the No.1 spot locally, having to settle instead for the No.2 position and No.3 in the UK.
