It's an announcement that's come as a shock to many within the television industry and indeed a shock to many watching around the country tonight, but Rove McManus from TV's 'Rove' is currently hosting his last ever 'Rove' TV show. Although the popular presenter is set to stay with Network Ten, it's a big blow for fans of live music, with the weekly show being one of only a handful (bar some morning television slots) where acts can perform live in front of a national audience. More on this developing story from our friends over at TV Tonight.

omgee.. i can't believe this is really happening?! ROVE is the best show ever.
i think i'm already starting to have rove-withdrawals.
is this the goldfish from Dannii's All I Wanna Do?
Good riddance. Could never stand Rove and his cast of twits. I thought the program would have got better once they included Judith Lucy...It didn't.
Ultimately, it's a shame that music, film and other entertainment media will suffer a lack of promotion without his program. I will be disgusted if Hey Hey takes on the role of new music promotion for free to air TV.
That's where Hey Hey can resume...plus rove would only have one act on to play each shows whereas Hey Hey used to have 3-4...
