WESTLIFE : What About Now

We don't quite know what it is about Westlife that has endeared them to Australian fans, but they have been consistently charting down under since they first burst onto the local scene with 'Swear It Again' a decade ago. But the band is back with the first single from their forthcoming album 'Where We Are' - and 'What About Now' has already made a rather big impact on the UK singles chart, debuting at No.2 last week.
In the hands of Daughtry, the track was a big ol' soft rock number, but in the hands of Westlife, the track is a big ol' boyband ballad and the clip - well the clip makes us feel a little cold, if you must know - though not for the reasons you may think. It's shot in Iceland, you see (not the UK frozen goods store, BTW...) and what with all the show and ice, we're on high beams just looking at it.
