The people behind this year's Stereosonic Festivals around the country must have done something right, with word through this evening that tickets for the 2010 events are selling better than anticipated. In fact, the word on the street is that they sold more tickets in the two hours from 9am today than they did in the entire first day on sale last year. And why wouldn't they with a line-up as strong as this?Sydney has already sold out both the first and second ticket releases and is already onto release No.3, while Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth are all onto their second releases. It's gonna be a hot summer.

No word at this stage, Anonymous, but if Stereosonic goes close to selling out, we'd expect a few to be announced a bit closer to the time.
