DAVID BOWIE : Hallo Spaceboy

Lookback time seems to come around quicker every week for some reason - and here we are again. This week we're looking back to 1996 and the final single from David Bowie's album 'Outside'. 'Hallo Spaceboy' was a lot more laid back affair in album version form, but David roped in the production and guest vocal services of the Pet Shop Boys for the official single version and everything just gelled brilliantly. It provided him with a No.12 hit in his homeland and offers up a glimpse of where the Pet Shop Boys were musically at the time - in between their 'Very' and 'Bilingual' journeys.
The official clip features shots of Bowie in killer heels intercut with scenes from classic space movies. The Pet Shop Boys also appear.
