If you've been feeling the chill of the depths of winter and its solstice over the past couple of days, it might very well do you the world of good to wrap your ears around the latest single from Adelaide five piece The Salvadors. 'Merrily' is a sweet-as-pie, summery indie-pop number that tells the story of a girl called Merrily and her move to the big smoke and her subsequent adventures (including those with the visiting "Yankee sailors".
The track is the first to be lifted from the band's new album 'Holy Drunken Fisherman', which is due for release later in the year - and they've got another single in the works, which is due soon.
So draw back those curtains and let the sun merrily shine your way.
